Cara Redpath

Cara, a Clinical Nutritional Therapist registered with BANT, is located in Oban on Scotland's West Coast. Her consultations extend across the UK, where she addresses a diverse range of health issues for clients.

With a focus on preconception, fertility, pregnancy, birth, and hormonal well-being, Cara's background as a pediatric nurse shifted after a horse riding accident led to a spinal injury. Her recovery journey emphasised the impact of nutrition, targeted supplements, functional tests, and lifestyle changes, prompting her to pursue Clinical Nutritional Therapy.
Passionate about the biochemical effects of food on the body and its interconnected systems, Cara empowers her clients with knowledge of the transformative power of food. She tailors simple, evidence-based interventions, always considering each client's unique circumstances at the core of her protocols.

Cara has a special interest in supporting clients with hypermobile conditions having navigated a life of hypermobility herself.

Cara's qualifications include a diploma in Nutritional Therapy and Naturopathy from the College of Natural Medicine, along with specialised training in infant and child health, fertility, pregnancy, and hormonal health through various reputable institutions.

In her free time, Cara indulges in swimming in Scotland's lochs and seas, hiking mountains, and cycling around the picturesque Scottish islands. She has a keen interest in recipe development and cooking, often creating new dishes in her pink kitchen for her clients to enjoy.
